This was all confirmed by Nomura himself. And so Roxas, who is a part of Sora, was affected by that and looks just like Ventus. This doesn't get any clearer then this. Roxas who is literally Sora's body was affected by Ventus's heart.
Since the heart shapes the vessel Sora's body was molded to look like Ventus as his heart remained in Sora's body. Had Ven's heart not been present Roxas would have looked like Sora not Ven. This further emulates the point about the location of Ven's heart. Roxas's fainted because Ven's heart was so close to his body, and Roxas Sora's Body was so close to his heart.
Had Ven's heart not been within Roxas he woud not be included in Roxas's true selves. As Roxas is a part of Sora, he also can use two. In Days Roxas awakened his ability to dual wield after fighting Xion. Again if Roxas did not have Ven's heart he would have no means to access Ven's keyblade.
So strictly speaking, they are being influenced by Sora. Also yes they did take turns wielding Sora's keyblade until Sora was put to sleep by Namine. CoM and Days intersect during this time and Sora was wielding his keyblade yet Roxas also was wielding Sora's keyblade during the exact same time.
This was also confimed by Nomura Also Riku could hold others keyblades bc all wielders can hold each others as we witnessed with Riku and Sora in the final battle with Xemnas in Kh2 and Aqua using Eraqus' keyblade. Maybe you should take some of your own advice if you want to be taken seriously.
Thanks guys! I learn more about KH every day. So I think now that they are actually quite equal, since they basically attain each other's abilities.
Stats-wise, I think Roxas's LV multiplier panels in Days represent how quickly he is "remembering" in a way how to use a keyblade like Sora. No that is wrong. Its been stated by Diz that Roxas has always held only half of Sora's power, even after he absorbed Xion. They did seem evenly matched when they fought in Deep Dive, but Sora managed to defeat Roxas. You know, Roxas has ties to Sora and Ventus too, they're the whole reason he can wield the keyblade in the first place.
And besides Ventus's heart is the reason Roxas has feelings too. I mean, Sora was his past life, despite the fact that they Co-Existed for a time. No matter how you look at it, Roxas will always be part of Sora and can be considered to be him too. I think they are just as strong. They use different fighting styles, so it all depends on the enviroment and luck.
Roxas has much larger range on his attacks, but he could be in a trouble if he was forced to fight on a room with little space. When they fought, Roxas had the advantage, since the area was large enough for him to use some of his AOE type attacks, but Sora got lucky. If the room would've been smaller, and filled with pillars and objects, Sora would've won without almost losing the fight.
Of course Roxas could've been lucky as well. I think Sora is a bit more experienced than Roxas. You can post now and register later. If you have an account, sign in now to post with your account. Roxas spent most of his days hanging out with Axel and Xion at Twilight Town while they talked about their lives and ate ice cream. Because of his connection to Sora and Ventus, Roxas can wield two keyblades, Oathkeeper and Oblivion, at the same time. He wasn't able to do this, however, until after Xion returned to Sora as she wielded the keyblade that Roxas would later use.
Oathkeeper and Oblivion also symbolize Sora's friendships, with Oathkeeper being his connection to Kairi while Oblivion being his connection to Riku. By using the darkness within him, Riku was able to win the fight. As a result of the battle, both of them lost something. While Riku lost his appearance and temporarily looked like Ansem the Seeker of Darkness, Roxas lost his memories of his friends, the organization, and even wielding the keyblade s.
Roxas' life in the Twilight Town simulation was very different than the one he actually had. He had three new friends, Hayner, Pence, and Olette, who only had a week left of their summer vacation and didn't want to go back to school. During these last few days, Roxas and his friends discovered secrets of the town, entered a tournament to fight in, etc.
On his sixth day inside the simulation, Roxas found Sora and returned to him, knowing that his summer vacation was over. Before returning to Sora, Roxas had to fight both of his best friends. He fought Xion before she returned to Sora, though he didn't want to hurt her. When she was defeated, everyone that knew her began to lose their memories of her, as if she never existed at all. Roxas left the organization after that and Axel was ordered to bring him back.
They fought inside of the simulation as Axel tried to remind Roxas of who he was. Roxas Votes: 17 Neither Votes: 3 5. I can't choose, they're both awesome! Votes: 14 Other Votes: 1 1. Don't get me wrong sora's tight to but until he gets 2 keyblades full time roxas. Gram Banned. Re: Who is better sora or roxas?
Who's better is largely a matter of opinion and who's stronger is as well. Strength wise I'd rank them around even, sora won their one fight by a surprise attack after all. Ruran Flesh by mother, soul by father. Yeah, it really does depend on what you mean by "better" since it's really subjective. There are so many criteria that can go into what determines which is better and is such a vague concept, if one really wanted to really get into it they could go into deep analysis for a while. But for the sake of conversation and to stop raining on this thread's parade I think Sora's the over all "better" of the two.
He just has the advantage that Roxas doesn't of having more screen time, characterization, character development, more developed relationships, stronger "Rule of Cool", contributes more to the story and has fulfilled more accomplishments.
Roxas has always bored me to be honest and I find a lot of slack given to his character because he can dual wield which Sora can do too. ChibiHearts Trapped in the Source Filmmaker. I can't decide! Roxas is my favorite character, but Sora is just so In a dippy-but-cool sorta way Shasta Member. I'm not going to say either is better than the other, but I did vote Roxas, not for his combat skills, but simply how he acts. I love Sora and Roxas equally but, Roxas was always more down to earth.
It seems as if Roxas took Sora's personality from the first Kingdom Hearts. He was more or less naive during that time period, Sora became more of an "anime" character over time.
Watanuki-kun New member. If I'm considering personailty and gameplay I'll go with Roxas. Ever since the beginning of KH2 you're interduce to Roxas and not Sora and the more you spent time with him the more you realize he's just a poor little boy who never wish to be a part of Ansem's crusade.
He didn't want to disappear. He just wanted to spend his time and goof around with his friends and be a normal teenager with no responsibilites of uniting with his somebody to save the world.
He sacrificed alot but I'm happy that now at list Naminie is around him. At list Ventus was a happy child that got a painful experience in order to grow.
